  I have been a patient of Dr. David Mir for the past 3 years. I typically see Dr. Mir for my annual physical, cold or flu or discuss diet and nutrition. Dr. Mir is warm and friendly and has good bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things clearly. The office is very clean with a friendly staff with little or no wait time. In 2014, at my first physical checkup with Dr. Mir he noticed an unusual heartbeat, perhaps a murmur. Dr. Mir asked me if I was aware of this. I explained to Dr. Mir that over the past 10 years due to job relocation's I've had about six different primary care doctors and none had mentioned anything about an unusual heartbeat. Dr. Mir strongly urged that I see a cardiologist ASAP as it may or may not be serious. Against Dr. Mir's strong recommendation I chose to put off meeting a cardiologist and wait until I began to notice symptoms such as shortness of breath or lightheadedness. A few weeks passed when Dr. Mir called to check that I had met with a cardiologist and had a full cardiac examination. I am VERY thankful that Dr. Mir followed up with me and insisted that not put this off any longer. The next week I met with a cardiologist and after a few tests learned that I was, and had been, at high risk of heart attack or stroke. Apparently I've had a heart condition for the past 10 years but it was overlooked by my previous primary care doctors. With the help of Dr. Mir I now have my heart condition under control and doing well … Thanks Dr. Mir!
